Your Tasks and Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who enjoys turning complex domain requirements into robust, maintainable software. Whether you see yourself more in frontend, backend or full stack is up to you.

Your role with us
Frontend development with TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS
Backend development with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL
Testing, debugging and troubleshooting applications
Team-oriented collaboration: defining features and shaping tasks together
Skills you bring
A degree in computer science related to web development, or equivalent training
German at B2 level or higher
A feel for UI, UX and responsive design
Version control with Git
For senior roles
Several years of professional experience with the technologies listed or similar ones
Willingness to coordinate tasks and mentor others in the team
Bonus points for experience with
CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), Docker
Native or hybrid app development with React Native (Expo)
Working with GeoJSON and MapLibre, and visualising geodata
What to expect at Trafficon
Your new position at our Salzburg office is planned at 38.5 hours per week, but can also be part-time. Junior positions are possible from 20 hours per week, senior positions from 30 hours per week.
For 38.5 hours per week, the gross monthly salary starts at €3,200 (gross annual salary from €44,800). We agree the actual salary individually, depending on qualifications and experience.
