Now, the Hessen Cycling Route Planner’s user community gets even more momentum with a new user interface. What's more, supprted by new backing functionalities, network data, and routing logic.

Route Planning has Never Been Easier

The Hessen Cycling Route Planner supports a wide range of journeys – from school and everyday travel to leisure rides and cycling tours. Routes can be easily planned and customised to suit individual needs. Comprehensive data and various cycling networks provide the basis for reliable routing.

A range of options is available for planning your tour: Routes can be planned by distance, bike type or themed cycling routes. Elevation profiles and information on sights, leisure destinations, bike rental, and e-bike charging points help you choose the right route. You can also avoid steep climbs or ferry crossings when planning your journey.

The route planner is continuously being enhanced. New features such as offline use, node-based routing and additional navigation options make route planning even more flexible and help you find your way while on the move. From planning to arrival, the Hessen Cycling Route Planner is a practical companion along every step of the way.

A Cycling Map that Keeps Getting Better.

The Hessen Cycling Route Planner has been online since 2007 and continues to evolve as part of the state’s active mobility strategy. Commissioned by the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing and ivm GmbH, Trafficon is proud to develop and support this innovative project.

Mobile App

From Route Planning to Navigation

The mobile app gives everyday and leisure cyclists as well as students the tools they need to reach their destination safely and efficiently. With integrated navigation, planned routes are available directly on the go, reliably guiding users along the entire journey.
